About the Instructor
Ashley Nelson is a certified Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS) educator with a Master's degree in Education and more than 15 years of teaching experience. She has taught at East Central High School for the past five years, where she enjoys helping students build practical life skills through hands-on learning. Ashley has a passion for baking, nutrition, sewing, and sustainable living, and she loves sharing skills that help others gain confidence in the kitchen. Whether you're brand new to sourdough or looking for a refresher, Ashley is excited to help you begin your sourdough journey.
